yeah, I don't think i would have published it. I think he should have written it and given it to them when they are old enough to understand and appreicate what he's trying to say.

Other than that, I am pleasently suprised by this man and hopeful for the first time in a long time. Only time will tell....

I think Bob is right about Sasha and Malia perhaps eventually feeling used. As Obama seems to think children have no value as human beings before they draw breath, I am sure Obamas daughters feel very lucky...their parents allowed them to live instead of killing them before they were born. Voting FOUR times in the Illinois senate to deny medical care to LIVING, BREATHING children who had survived a botched abortion attempt is absolutely abhorrant. The man has no soul.

I always publish the letters I write to my children. Doesn't everyone? It adds to the intimacy.

I wonder if Sasha and Malia are going to feel exploited when they get a bit older, having been used as stage props.

Oh, well. We'll have to get used to this sort of political theater. He did the same thing to the progressives that brought him to prominence in the first place.
