People should be protesting outside the home of Danny Boyle. I will never see one of his films again. I thought this one was horrendous. But I suppose for Danny Boyle it should be enough to have your poverty-stricken life set to an M.I.A. soundtrack.

My sentiments exactly, Brian. This is a disgrace upon humanity and had I known that this would have occurred I would have never contributed to the earnings of this movie. I realize that we can not save the entire population living in these India shanty towns, but the movie industry just prostituted the poor children. Even a pimps take better care of their "investments." I am appalled.

The film grossed $326 million and only cost $15.1 Million to make. That is $311 million in profit! Someone please tell me how anyone with half a heart could scoop up these poor kids fly them to LA to make their movie, and then dump them back off in India to continue living in abject poverty? Even a tiny fraction of that profit could have this family living like kings. I can tell you that I never felt comfortable with the way they handled these poor kids from the get go. It seemed very surreal to me that they would scoop these kids up fly them to the good life, then throw them back like discarded waste. Worst yet, scoop them back up again, fly them back to the good life for the awards show, and then return them back to hell on earth! How is this OK on a human level given how much this movie made? Please, someone needs to tell me this right away because for once in my life I am completely and utterly stumped!

This is horrendous - Danny Boyle MUST do something about this. These kids are tremendous gifts to our world and deserve all that they have earned. Homes is just a start!
