On the matter of experience and capability-

OBAMA has run an impressive, nearly flawless, grassroots bottom-up campaign that began quietly 3 years ago- one that whupped America's most 'hard boiled political infighters'. Indeed, OBAMA was far more organized and prepared to run a presidential campaign- FROM DAY ONE. At no point has he gone negative with personal attacks- choosing to stay free of the 'fray'. Demonstrating Jann Wenner's comment- "We need to recover the moral direction that SHOULD describe our country. We need to send a message to ourselves and to the world that we truly DO stand for life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness".

OBAMA has emerged to the top by displaying precisely the kind of character and judgement we need and are looking for in a president; renouncing the politics of fear, speaking frankly on the most pressing issues facing the country and sticking to his principles. He recognizes that running for president is an opportunity to 'inspire an entire nation'.

I've lived and traveled by motorhome all over this country to research what people want and what makes them feel the most empowered. If George W Bush has done anything for this broken country that has been brought to it's knees, he has pissed us off bad enough to get us up off the couch and pay attention to our choices! Afterall, WE the People ARE the government, remember? You will, if you're as smart as a 5th grader. Those people in office all over our country- they are OUR public servants. To make it as simple as possible: they work for US.

It's time for a shift in consciousness from the Good 'ol Boy network. Unfortunately, there is only one candidate running that truly represents renewed faith for what we need- to completely transform communities from the ground up like OBAMA has in Chicago. Someone who was bright enough to see the sham of the Iraq war. Someone who recognizes that fighting only pulls in fighting.

The average person in the United States of America is feeling a bit too average these days. Especially when some of us adults find ourselves turned away from our companies ending up vying for positions we wouldn't have worked coming out of college.

I really hate Tina Fey. I used to like her. But her jokes about the writers strike are not funny to those of us who lost our jobs permanently due to the strike. Many (most) of our shows are not coming back at all this season. Some of them won't come back at all because of this. So, just because the strike is over, it doesn't mean that the nightmare is over for the rest of the crew. Droves of us are now competing for a handful of jobs. To watch her joke about it while collecting a paycheck...well it's not funny. It's disrespectful.
