I don't get why people get so mad at her. I just feel very sad for her.

As a young male i direct my anger towards Mr Eliot Spitzer. A very bad man, who ruins others lives whilst engaging in despicable behavior himself.

As for her wife, she seems as ambitious as him. She'd get some sympathy if she left him, but since she isn't, then i'll save my sympathy for the children. Least they still have a chance to become decent human beings.

She did nothing wrong. Atleast she was making money instead of becoming yet another person we must pay for while they do nothing. She paid taxes, bought high dollar items (good for economy) and had consensual sex with an adult. People need to grow up already and realize legalizing prostitution would help control and regulate it like in NV. Check their statistics and you will see that the arguments against it (higher rapes, drugs, etc) are just not so.

I see Ashley as much a victim as Spitzer, his wife and family. We are all victims of this dark side. We all have it. Some choose and some can't see any other way than to live in it.

I hope Ashley finds her way out of the darkness of her past. Obviously, someone who is hurting deeply would allows themselves to be used sexually. My heart goes out to everyone involved.

I hope our world turns around at some point to the light. In the meantime, we are constantly going to hear stories like this. It serves no one to blame the people involved but to look at the bigger picture....the fall from grace in humanity!

God forgives, but is God pleased when someone sells or buys a person's body? I don't think so. Why glorify prostitution? What have either of these two done with the gifts God gave them? Squandered them. Who have they hurt apart from themselves. Start with their families and work your way out. The ripple effect of these two goes all the way to the state lines. As for working a regular job being grunt work and only for losers -- I think not. At the end of the day, personal dignity and a good name is all any of us have. That's something neither of these two have. Nor will they ever have.

The money laundering is the only thing I care about had he used his own money then this is a matter between Spitzer and his wife and nobody else should even care. Yes he is guilty of Hypocrysy last I checked thats not illegal and it is a condition that is rampant in our politicians. Ben Franklin had 100's of illegitimate children and it didnt make him a bad statesman. As for prostitution its called the oldest profession remember, Legalize and slap it with a bunch luxury taxes like cigarettes and liquor and then it will be safer for everyone involved.
