Perhaps they have, but it doesn't sound like it. It would make me nervous to think of my ex's family having unfettered access to my daughter's inheritance, doling it out as they saw fit. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;It's a tragedy, but that little girl is his rightful heir and she's entitled to whatever assets he left.&lt;/p&gt;
