I have plenty of "friends" that drink in pregnancy...I find it revolting but hey each to their own.

there's nothing wrong with an occassional beer in pregnancy. I know a midwife who instructs her clients to have a beer when labor sets in. The hops are good for you......

I drank non-alcoholic beer several times while pregnant. I craved beer like crazy during my last trimester, especially at BBQs and ball games. And since I couldn't drink the real thing, I settled for second best.

I'm guessing it's non-alcoholic beer which is available at AT&T park in SF but who knows about LA. When I was hot and pregnant in the middle of the summer it was amazing how good those Sharp beers tasted.
