I've been wanting to see the Cai Guo exhibit too but have been hesitant because my kids are pretty young. After reading your post. I took my kids this weekend. They had a great time. The exhibit worked on a "Pixar level" - something cognitive for the grown ups and that same something visual enough for the kids. The raft ride really made the kids' day.

Oooh thanks for the Gugg report and pix and good for you for taking them -- what an exciting unforgettable visit! As a kid one of my earliest memories was being taken to a Red Grooms exhibit and having my tiny mind blown.

Will buy yer book and report back if there's anything to report, but I'm one of those who buys all books online these days. :)

Oh and I see you're on Facebook but it wouldn't hurt to add "Visual Bookshelf" -- I find it a much better app than iRead.

Just listened to your NPR interview. You've been through quite a lot. I know you must get pretty worn out. I donated a kidney to my mother almost 11 years ago. She's still in great shape at 76 years old.

The Guggenheim exhibit looks really cool. I wish my son was old enough to appreciate it.

I'll stop by a Borders either in my neighborhood or near work in DC to ask about the book.

Wowzers about the magical museum adventure, Trey! Love the fantastic pics! I will go to the downtown Chicago book store chains and demand BEDTIME STORIES!!! We want BEDTIME STORIES in all the major book stores!!! The book's beautiful message of survival, love and family must be heard!!! And a fun time is guaranteed for all :)
