I'm lucky in that I have an office with a door - so I can close it when he's fussy, to nurse, etc. I'm also only taking him once a week, on days when I don't have meetings. A new mama advocated for such a policy about 7 years ago, and brought her son to work every day for a few months. It's thanks to her efforts that I'm able to bring Axel.

Sounds like a pretty great day - I can't imagine working with kid in tow, kudos to you!!

You are brave, and a genius multi-tasker. Also, very lucky that your baby can be happy in a sling. Neither one of mine liked it in there.

What a neat policy! I love the idea of bringing babies to work. It sounds like Axel had a good time, too. He's such a cutie!

This is awesome. Reminds me of my days in the office with my son (where he napped in the CFO's office while the big man was out of town)! Multi-tasking is an art.

Yea!!! Glad to hear that it worked out. My daughter has been coming to work with me (everyday!) since she was 3 months old. She is almost 3 now. There were days where I thought they would send us both packing but I am lucky there is only one other person in the office with me and we have adjusted through all her phases. It really is a mixed blessing to be able to bring her to work.
