It was all politics on post writer's strike Saturday Night Live's Weekend Update. There was Huckabee. And then this "bitch is the new black" endorsement from Tina Fey. It has been awhile since the senator has gotten an endorsement from somebody -- anybody -- who is culturally relevant.
Another skit had a moderator and two panelists swooning over Barack Obama (played by cast memeber Fred Armisen) and ignoring and/or badgering Hillary Clinton (played by Amy Poehler).
From NYT The Caucus:
“The three of us are totally in the tank for Senator Obama,” the moderator said, opening the debate.
After softballs to Mr. Obama, the panel asked Mrs. Clinton, played
by Amy Poehler, why she had lost various states. She said she never
expected to win Wisconsin, and “it was always our intention to lose
Virginia.” She said that “getting blown out in Maryland has long been a
dream of mine.”
