Which is why Political Nanny is happy to report that one of her charges has found work in the day job that he ill-advisedly quit to run for president.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;a href="http://www.reuters.com/article/entertainmentNews/idUSN2428205620080324?feedType=RSS&amp;amp;feedName=entertainmentNews"&gt;Fred Thompson is back in Hollywood.&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Sure, even if the 65-year-old were to reprise a role as enjoyable as that of the forceful, determined, hardworking Arthur Branch on &amp;quot;Law &amp;amp; Order,&amp;quot; any viewing of the masterful thespian will be tainted by still-fresh memories of his lackluster performance as a presidential hopeful.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;But he&amp;#39;s back where he belongs: surrounded by liberals, agents, scripts, outlandish riders and long periods of time off.
