Actually, "Moslem" is a perfectly acceptable alternate spelling for "Muslim". But, since it's obviously not as well accepted, I don't mind changing it....

I should point out, btw, that my entire "Mitt Romney" section is intended to be a bit tongue in cheek. He ran for office here in Massachusetts portraying himself as a very liberal Republican, claiming he supports the right of gay people to marry, for women to have abortions, etc. And it worked well enough for him to get elected Governor. But once he set his sights on Washington, he suddenly "rediscovered" his conservative roots.

A number of conservative blogs have attacked Romney's conservative credentials, pointing to his earlier campaigns and claiming that he is just pretending to be a conservative. At the same time, a number of liberal blogs have claimed he was conservative all along and just pretended to be liberal in order to get elected. Which is, of course, hilarious, and the reason I came up with my designs. "Romney -- a Republican Only a Democrat Could Love!" "Romney -- the Next Best Thing to a Democrat!" "Just Like a Democrat, Only Electable!"

I do consider myself to be liberal, btw, and think it would be great to have a Democrat in the Oval Office this time around. At the same time, though, I just don't have enough faith in my fellow Americans (the same ones that voted Bush into office a SECOND time, for Pete's sake) to think that they would really be willing to vote for Hillary or Obama. And so, since Romney has shown himself to be a strong leader with liberal tendencies, I really do think he's the best choice right now.

But I can't help laughing....
