Forgive me for my silence this past week. I've been busy. But more than that I've had no desire to blog, email, call or see anyone. I've been pretty much homebound since we came home from the hospital last Friday and honestly? Have no real desire to ever leave again. (Is that weird? Or...)
Apparently we're in the throes of some kind of economic crisis? The end of the world is nigh? You don't say?
I've been far too busy gazing into the eyes of my newborn, playing with little toes and hosting evening cuddle-fests with my family of four, which is still a shock to say aloud. Family of four. Two children...

I'm slowly posting Fable's birth story and will have the full three chapter tale to post, here on Straight From the Bottle later this week as soon as I can get my head out of my baby's ass. For now? I'll leave you with a "best of this week" photo spread, featuring Miss Fable, who by the way, eats like a champ (I'm able to pump about two ounces of breastmilk per feeding which YAY! With Archer I was only able to pump 1/2 of that on a good day) sleeps like a dream and couldn't get any cuter if I paid her a million trillion dollars...

Also, can I just say that transitioning from one baby to two has been much easier than I thought? Archer loves his sister so much he even made up a song he calls "seester song" to sing to her, hasn't acted jealous even for a second and even sleeps through her cries when she wakes up at night (which is WHOA crazy as he's always been a light sleeper and our bedrooms are attached.)
I'm knocking on wood like crazy but honestly? Everything really is fabulous-amazing. Everyone wins! Hooray!

Hal's pretty stoked, too.

Even Archer can't get enough of his "baby seester!"

And now, I will stumble for the right words to end this post, realizing after ten minutes of trying to construct a closing sentence that I seem to have misplaced my brain and ability to come up with anything clever and/or witty.
Maybe I should get out of the house, eh?
