Now I finally know what my next car is going to be! After eschewing
the momly minivan for a more funky old Volvo wagon, and then ditching
that money pit for an older and smaller Japanese SUV (please don't pelt me with
anything; it's not really an SUV, I promise!), I'm happy with what I am driving now but I'm still
always looking around for the next vehicle that totally screams "Me!"
And this is it. And it's here, too.
And I totally need one. Except there's one problem: they don't make them
yet. Nope, the retro-mod Ford Airstream Concept Vehicle is still a
glimmer in someone's eye, and is still about ten years away from
production. Too bad, because the hybrid hydrogen-electric concept
appeals to the eco-conscious while the 60's Pod and Egg chairs and the
lava lamp (or is that a 360 LED screen?) appeal to the terminally hip.
Which I am not, but I love them anyway.
Hurry up, Ford! (I can't believe I am coveting a Ford) I don't know how long my ten-year old (not-an-SUV) SUV will last.
