In Shrek The Third,
due in theaters May 18, the gruff-but-lovable ogre gets more than he
bargained for, when Princess Fiona gives birth to triplets!
Dreamworks unveiled the official family portrait today (right). Awwwwww!
Director Chris Miller called Shrek and Fiona's progeny "the next
logical step," in the story that started with the couple meeting and
marrying in the original Shrek, and fighting to save their marriage in Shrek 2.
The adventure continues later this month, with Shrek being groomed to
take over the kingdom of Far Far Away. Hey, with three newborns
at home, I'd be looking for a better day job, too.
