The Momergency Kit: What You Need to Have

Now what would a day with a child be like without some sort of "emergency"?  You're stranded without food and water with a flat tire.  You forgot diapers and your cash at home and Billy ate lots of fiber this morning. The horrors.  Lucky for us, the Wire & Twine Company has identified "real" emergencies and all of the fabulous things you need in case one of them actually occurs.

The Momergency Kit consists of balloon, bandage, paper clips, paper clips, birthday candle and a carabiner (and many other fabulous things).  Ostensibly, these are meant to amuse and entertain as well as save the lives of your offspring.

In that vein, I believe all well-prepared mamas must also carry with them the following: Flask, Erma Bombeck book, lube, condoms, pacifier, and a stuffed giraffe.  I'll leave it to your imagination which are life-savers, which entertainment for the kidlings, and which for mommy's soul.

You?  What would your kit hold?
