Best of FameCrawler. Heidi Klum Chronicles

Today's Famecrawler post brought to you by Sweat Pants Mom.

Remember how, after giving birth, it felt great to slip into your size 2 jeans, bare your breasts and get your picture taken? Yeah, me neither. But Heidi Klum is doing all that, and less than a year after giving birth to her third child. Klum is featured in a provocative series of ads for Jordache jeans and the effects of gravity and sleepless nights are nowhere to be found. It even baffled my husband, who insisted on studying this photograph for an entire fifteen minutes to try and figure out how she does it.

Although Klum says she maintains her hot bod (technical term) by staying active with her kids, she also cops to having some help. "There were 20, 30 people on set to take the pictures...So I don't have to do that much. They all make me look good." Now I don't feel so bad - it usually only takes 10 to 15 people to make me look good enough to walk out the door.

From my book, which is heading towards the best seller list for a reason--And I love your website!!

"Unless you live in a cave, you’ve heard about celebrities such as Gwyneth Paltrow, Kate Hudson, Catherine Zeta Jones, Courtney Cox, Debra Messing, Sara Jessica Parker, Reese Witherspoon and so on, who've recently had babies…and just how fast all of these glamour moms have dropped their baby weight and bounced back into shape. But what about the rest of us?

What about the 84% of women who gained over the allotted 35 or so pounds during pregnancy, whose squishy tummies stick around for several months, who don’t have four or five hours a day to devote to exercising, let alone the means to employ a personal trainer, a personal chef and a nanny to help them take off the extra weight?

There is hope and it’s called Lose That Baby Fat! Written by well-known fitness personality, leading fitness expert for Fit Pregnancy Magazine and author of "Exercise Balls for Dummies" and "Stretching For Dummies", LaReine Chabut is a mom who knows just how hard it really is to get back into shape after having a baby and she offers up this reality-based fitness program for the average woman trying to shed excess pounds after childbirth.
