"Definitely, Maybe" Worth Seeing?

I'm all very confused by this movie: A dad gets divorced. A daughter wants to know how her dad met her mom so long ago. She also doesn't seem to know who mom is. He refuses to tell. His love stories are recounted, and in the end something something something. I still don't get it. Why doesn't the girl know who her mom is? I am all for a dad and daughter sappy sweet love story but this one boggles the mind thus far.

As I understand it, she simply does not know which person in the story is her mother.

I get so creeped out by the plethora of movies featuring a dad and his duaghter and their weird, undying devotion to each other.  Statistically men are much more likely to die before women so there are many more widows than widowers. There thousands more single mothers in this country than single fathers.  But Hollywood (men in charge) get a chubby from these sick story lines.  Big wonderful man either rescues precocious woman-child or finds a woman to fuck the daughter approves of, which is also super creepy.  Eewww!  Enough with the porn!
