Posted by Brett Singer

Vote For T-RexThaddeus Rex, who has been compared to David Bowie, Monty Python and Dr. Seuss – all in the same review – is a Grand Prize Winner in the John Lennon Songwriting Contest. What does this mean? It means that he has a chance to win the Children's Song category, which gives him a shot at $20,000 and a really sweet Apple Computer setup. But to win, he needs your votes.

Here's the deal: go to this page. Click in the "Children's" box, and vote for Thaddeus' song, "I Will Always Follow You." You can vote every day from now until April 26th. To hear T-Rex's tune, click here. Remember, he's a Grand Prize Winner, but he still needs your votes to make it to the next round.

T-Rex also has a new album out called Shakin' In Chicago. For the unitiated, there are two free tunes from his first two CDs that you can download here.
