Texas Sex Ed to Get Even Dumber

Oh sweet fancy Moses, tell it me it has not truly come to this. Texas schoolkids will  devote a large portion of their health education classes next year to such topics as proving who their babydaddy is and how to get child support.

The target audience for this “Parenting and Paternity Awareness”" curriculum? 15-year olds.

    Yes it’s a mixed message. But maybe, it will cause the boys sitting through the class to think twice about unprotected sex. (It could be an end-run around the abstinance only requirements.)

    Yes, this is the same Texas that has had two girls give birth in bathrooms (with horrible results) in the last few months- Once in a plane and once in the school. It’s crazy!
