Political Nanny: Mike Huckabee's Resurrection

Posted by Madeline Holler

Is this the second coming of Mike Huckabee? If so, expect him to descend from on high in 2 days, 16 hours, 6 minutes and 12 seconds ... or less.

He's launching Huck PAC, a political action committee that will support conservative candidates. He says this includes support of John McCain. No word on continuing the call to tinker with the Constitution as he was once so interested in doing

Political Nanny confesses to missing little Mikey, not for his political insight or "fair" tax promises, but for his humor, charm and willingness to defend poor people and children of undocumented workers. Watching the McCain has made the Republican playgroup rather dry.

Well, we shouldn't just stop from teaching folks about the several pandering and empty promises of Constitutional amendments whether it's trying to shove the "Fair" tax past a nonrepealable 16th amendment ( which can't be done ) or trying to push marriage protection, abortion ( we tried it before with the majority and still couldn't do it ) or even religion.

Believe it or not, The Huckster used to be correct in standing for Federalism which is what our founding fathers specifically instructed us to do but, when the "leaders" of religious groups made it crystal clear that they were dictating the terms for their support ( and of course their large congregations ) The Huckster switched right over to pandering to them...that's not just self-serving, that's disgusting in revealing he doesn't allow right from wrong to get in his way when there's something to gain. Yet, his record and past are filled with the same kind of depravity;

I will soon be 70 and have seen a lot of politicians come and go. Mike Huckabee is a man of God who has a proven track record of accomplishments.  Those who hate God have taken on the task of demonizing him. I wish they would read his book, From Hope To Higher Ground.  If they had and were honest their condemnation would have been less harsh. No man is perfect and he isn't but do you think one of the candidates running for President is truly "perfectly" qualified?  The two Democrats would bring our nation to disaster. John McCain at least is a patriot.  God help the USA after January.

It is easy to make derogator and hateful statements on a site like this.  I would hope those who do it would understand that one day all of us, including myself, will have to give an accounting of every word to the Lord.  If you don't believe this is true you are in even more danger as you haven't read the Bible.  Mike Huckabee is more qualified and has accomplished more for the people he governed in Arkansas over a 10 and one half year peorid that what these Senators running.  Check out his record for yourself and see what a good man can do even in a hostile environment.  Arkansas was 90% demoncratic. I believe he still has a lot to give to his country and I'm praying he will.  I have 5 grand children and one on the way.
