What to Do When He Has a Headache

sex starved wife book author
People love to complain about how good lovin' post-baby is as rare as the Bird of Paradise mating ritual...strange and very had to capture on film.

Time Magazine interviews Oprah regular and author of the Sex-Starved Wife, Michele Weiner Davis, about her tips for wives when he is the one who has a headache.

According to Ms. Weiner Davis, lower desire in men is America's best kept secret. As a result, many couples are ashamed and isolated and afraid to get help.

She recommends the following things in order to get him back on track:

1. Men - Cut back on alcohol and ramp up the exercise
2. Men - Get regular check-ups to rule out anything physiological.
3. Women - Don't let yourselves go.  Controversial (is your face red yet? ) but according to Ms. Weiner Davis many men report a lack of sexual attraction to their wives due to their physical decline.  No mention of the famously huge man-gut, but luckily women don't care at all about their husband's physicial appearance.

Perhaps I'm just so sleep-deprived that my intellect has regressed to that of a 4th grader, but does anyone else find it even slightly funny that a self-proclaimed sex expert has the last name "Weiner"?

i lol'd at the weiner also. She's one lucky sexpert.

but i guess it does make sense that i should hit the gym hardcore right after i have my baby so my man finds me attractive again. Him however? nah. I mean i just LOVE how his baby belly hangs over his tight jeans and especially how he doesnt acknowledge that he gained just a "little bit" of weight throughout my pregnancy.

Bite me Weiner, i'll take my time as long as hes taking his.

Well that's just silly maeby -- I lost all my sympathy pounds in just 67 weeks! Breastfeeding helped a little but it was mostly just grit and determination to be spectacular. Those nine months almost did me in. And concentrating on getting my figure back while dealing with a newborn felt really great.

Weiner ... hehe

Mo Rocca once said, "There are some words that get less funny, the more you use them.  'Weiner' is not one of those words."
