Political Nanny: Obama Clinches It! Election 2008 Begins

Posted by Madeline Holler

Hillary Clinton has all but conceded the nomination to her rival Barack Obama. That should come in, what, a few more hours?

The polls are still open in South Dakota and Montana, but no matter the winner, Obama has collected enough delegates to get the party's nomination.

He has also arranged a victory celebration in Minneapolis -- the site of the Republican National Convention later this summer.

When asked, Clinton said she'd be open to the VP slot on the ticket. Political Nanny sort of doubts that will happen. But in this campaign full of surprises, well, we've learned anything goes.

What do you think? Will the election finally begin? And Hillary supporters -- can you bear to send a check to the Obama campaign?

Every Clinton supporter I know, and I know quite a few, wont vote in the election unless she is the VP nominee. Looks lieke the GOP will get their man after all. They hated Clinton all these years and did not want her to run.  They knew she was trouble.
