They worry about things that are convenient for them and does not interfere with their desires.  Waldorf is also a tasty salad.  Guess what Roper?  People of color also attend college and live in upper class to wealthy neighborhoods. Your post seems to hint that only "white people" are these things.

Jeez, Cassie and Ali, take a breath. You're totally misreading Roper's comment. Her point is that the items in the list don't necessarily apply to white people, it's really more the upper middle class that's into that stuff. Count to 10 before you post next time.

Roper is totally right its dumb to lump all white people together. maybe the list should be stuff babble parents like. ha ha!

this is meant as a riff on "stuffwhitepeoplelike.com" which is a funny website making fun of the assumption that people can be grouped by race.

Is that what the web site is making fun of? Seems to me it's just making fun of priveleged people, many of whom are white. Which is all well and good -- and funny. (Especially if you are one, which I am, and the author obviously is.) But calling that group "white people" smacks of a lack of awareness about the economic reality of most white people in America. And, by extension, a sort of veiled racism.

Maybe. Or maybe I'm just getting too easily offended because I'm so white. And truth be told, I'm not actually offended. Your post is funny, the site is funny. I just think it's one of those things it's dangerous to get too comfy and inside-jokey about. Like when rich white people who would never, EVER utter a racist epithet are perfectly comfortable denouncing poor white people as "trailer trash."
