Jon Stewart Tackles Olympic Controversies

It’s that time of day when news becomes much more palatable channeled through humor. So, I’ve done some dirty work for you—faithfully searching the World Wide Web for hilarious videos—and I present you with a worthwhile way to waste eight minutes: the Daily Show’s “Special Olympics Update.”  (Yes, Jon, I think you’re right that there should be a comma somewhere in there.)

See a photograph of the 7-year-old national anthem singer who was deemed not “cute enough” to make a live appearance, and find out why the Daily Show is pretty darn sure that those Chinese gymnasts are younger than 16.

Three of them are 12 years old.  I know of someone whose daughter took gymnastics at the same gym where they trained in 2002-3. They were 6-8 years old then.  Same has several photos of them.  China is so used to getting away with whatever they want and executing or jailing anyone who questions them.  The real singer was much cuter and looks more like a typical Chinese beauty.  The actress is half Japanese!

Cassie, you're hilarious.  I'm sure we all love and appreciate it whenever some anonymous commenter claims that "they know someone" who "knows ____".  Yeah, thanks for the proof..not.

I am in no way claiming the girls are or are not of age.  I have no clue.  I just think your comment is hilariously typical.

And seriously, are you Chinese?  Because you sound like you aren't with your ridiculous comment about "typical chinese beauty".  I mean lmfao, these are little girls.  And although I thought both girls were cute but BOTH look typical Chinese, including the girl who lipsynched.  The girl who lipsynched looks   I don't know where you got your information that Lian Miaoke is "half Japanese" (which I sincerely doubt..)
