YouTube + Metallica + Someone With Time on Their Hands = Good Times.

Tech writer Sarah Lacy (Business Week, Yahoo! Finance) posted a video of the classic Metallica tune "Whiplash," as performed by, you know, Lego pieces.

I doubt Ole Kirk Christiansen could ever have imagined that the simple toy he created would lead to… well, whatever you want to call this.

What's even funnier is that there are multiple vids of Lego pieces doing Metallica songs. Here is "One" and below you can see "Whisky in the Jar." These two efforts are more like re-creations of the music videos, but still quite amusing.
