Political Nanny: Obama Talks to Bill O'Reilly

Posted by Madeline Holler

Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama made good on a nine-month-old promise and sat down with Fox News star Bill O'Reilly Thursday night. Looks like he held his own and even got a word in edgewise -- an accomplishment for any O'Reilly interviewee.

The full interview will be broken up over several days. Here's Part I, where they talk the Surge, Iran, Pakistan and diplomacy. What do you think? How's Obama going to do in debates with John McCain? And don't you think Bill could use some hugging? He seems to want Obama's approval.

I think he did a phenomenal job. The guy makes a heck of a lot of sense, and is pretty bold to get in front of that nutcase during the republican convention finale.

When will someone kick Bill O in the nuts and make him screech like a little girl?
