If "step on a crack, break your mother's back" was feeling a little too simple for you, a little too black and white in a world of bureaucratic grays, or just not quite challenging enough as a pasttime for your super-intelligent kid, five-year-old Ada Norton has a new, expanded version for you, in 14 steps. (It's even translated into Spanish.)
Number 8 is "If you step on the lines 71 times, then you can't step on squares anymore, and you have to step on the lines." and number 9 is "If you go to sleep when you have 6 lines, you will have 0 when you wake up." But it's the whole package in all its randomness that really shines.
I love five year olds.
