Yes, times are indeed tough. But robbing a toddler’s piggy bank to make ends meet? Now that’s a new low. A Wisconsin man was convicted on Friday for stealing twenty dollars from a two-year-old’s piggy bank and was sentenced to six years in prison. Yes, six years is quite a stint to do in the pokey for robbing the piggy but this was his fourth burglary conviction.
The 31-year old robber, Ryan Mueller, broke into a home in Sheboygan and while he was in the process of emptying the piggy bank and the toddler slept nearby, the girl’s mom came into the room and caught the robber in the act.
Six years? Justice has been served and then some.
