Palin on Katie Couric: She Totally Annoyed Me

Posted by Madeline Holler

Sarah Palin defended her incomprehensible Katie Couric interviews this morning in an interview with Fox News in St. Louis. She said she was annoyed that the CBS News anchor didn't ask her the questions she had prepped for. No, she didn't say that. She said she was annoyed that she didn't get asked questions that she, Sarah Palin, thought were important to Americans.

Some might argue that alone is a demonstration of the VP candidate's questionable judgment. Americans might actually want to know where their leaders get information and a little more about their general worldview. And also that she understands the implications of Supreme Court rulings and what the hell Dick Cheney has been doing for the past eight years. (He, Ms. Palin, has been a maverick!)

So basically, she's "annoyed" that Katie Couric didn't allow her to use her show as a forum to criticize Obama. Nice.

Media outsider?  WTF??  Hellloooo......  Wasn't she a newscaster??  Give me a break!  She is an example of the blame others and not own up to your own failures type of campaigning that has clouded the McCain candidacy.

I think she believes what she is told.  Darn but they prepped her hard for that debate.  OY!  It gives me a stomach ache to think of her anywhere near the White House.

And yet if she were still a media personality herself she would have probably been thrilled to have had Couric's attention  at all.

Um, sorry the interview wasn't about you going over your bullshit talking points. Americans have a right to be concerned that she can't even name a newspaper when asked about how she develops her world view (hint: she doesn't know what that even means). This woman is so vapid it's disturbing.

Palin is a sorry example of McCain's poor judgment.

What worries me more though is an electorate that would twice elect Bush, the worst president in my lifetime.  So, I quack in my boots about what those type of people would do - again.

I'm an Alaskan.  Today I will attend a rally for Barack Obama and Joe Biden, the only competent team.

Last week, I attended an anti-Palin rally.  Don't believe all you hear about Palin's popularity.  To be Governor is one thing (I didn't vote for her), potential leader of the free world is quite another.  Scary.
