On The Daily Show, Jon Stewart clarified the remarks he made at Northeastern University a few days ago (source - HuffPo):

Original post is below:
Speaking at a homecoming event at Northeastern University, Jon Stewart had this to say about Sarah Palin and her recent comments:
"She said that small towns, that's the part of the country she really likes going to because that's the pro-America part of the country. You know, I just want to say to her, just very quickly: f**k you."
The video is very low quality (cell-phone I think) and not that easy for my aging ears to understand. The zinger is pretty clear, though, so don't watch this at work. Here you go:
I'm almost surprised that Palin's comment isn't getting more attention. Not that it's been ignored, but what a terrible thing to say. It does, however, feed right into how a lot of people in this country feel (as this video shows pretty clearly).
To paraphrase Stewart, Palin's supporters love this country. They just hate half of the people in it.
