Banana Dildo the Latest in Stupid Kid Crap

I was surfing through the thousands of ultra-modernist nurseries and kid gear over at Ohdeedoh when all of a sudden I was confronted with something you don't normally see on this part of the interwebs.

Is that what I think it is? And is Banana Bunker really the best name for this product? And don't bananas already have cases?

There's a hot-or-not contest over at Ohdeedoh, but I have to wonder: Who would whip this thing out at the playground?

That is... I am actually speechless. That's really... I don't know what. Amazing? That doesn't quite do it.

I think amazing is, yes, a proper word for this. Simply amazing.

Having yanked seriously squished or browning bananas out of my tote bag at work multiple times, I have to say this is not the worst idea ever. It is quite embarrasing looking, though.

I love my Banana Bunker! And it is not embarrassing!

It is "ribbed" because it is flexible so it will fit your banana however curvy it may be.

Though it may already have a "case", nature (or bioscientists, however you want to look at it) gave it only a poor little soft one that is easily smashed or broken in a heavy book bag when you travel out on the town all day. I bought a fantastic Banana Bunker in green, and there are no more mashed bananas in my travel bag!

If you were more mature than the toddler you were shopping for, maybe you would see what a brilliant invention it truly is.

I think it's useful and would probably buy one, but would be real secretive about removing the banana from the case.

We've got a banana guard, and what's more, I get it out at the playground all the time. It's a conversation starter.
