McCain's Mom's Morale Super Low

Posted by Madeline Holler

John McCain's 96-year-old aunt, his mom's twin sister, is dishing like crazy on how her sibling feels about the presidential race.

Rowena Willis says McCain's mom, Roberta McCain, has given up.

From the Daily Beast:

"She really doesn't care," Willis said of her 96-year old twin sister, who has campaigned for her son and recorded TV ads with him. “‘Let these bastards get in,’ she says, ‘I don't give a damn anymore. If these people want to buy votes and get their people in office, let them suffer for it in the way of high taxes.’”

The two sisters are still hoping and praying and that sort of thing. But look at what Aunt Ro' has to say about her nephew.

"I'm hoping he wins, for the country's sake. I figure it will kill him, but he's going to die one day anyway, so he might as well do it there," she said, "But that man is honest—he has all the money in the world, he could do whatever he wants, even without his wife's money, which he does not have; they keep it separate. He has a good pension from the Navy and my father was very rich."

McCain does not need the money or power that being the USA president gets. He is rich already and not young so he must be an idealist.

She's just mad because she's one of the 3% of Americans who will get taxed extra under the Obama-Biden plan, unlike, say, most Americans, who will see their tax burdens decrease.  You hate to see selfish rich people whining - but at least I don't have to give them my sympathy! I love, too, the 'buy votes' allegation.  Yup, these votes were bought by a campaign 82% of whose donations were UNDER $100!
