Secret Service Releases Code Names For Obama Family

Posted by Amy S.F. Lutz

Frankly, I can't help but wonder why the secret service is using code names if they're going to tell everyone in the world what those names stand for, but if your kids want to play "Protect the First Family," here they are:

Barack will be referred to as "Renegade"; Michelle is now "Renaissance"; Malia will be called "Radiance"; and young Sasha will affectionately be known as "Rosebud."

As far the Bidens, they have code names as well:  Joe is "Celtic," and Jill is "Capri."

I wonder if Joe Biden's name is pronounced "Keltic" or "Seltic."  I like the Obamas' names - they are complimentary.  Someone should start a website that generates one's Secret Service name...

I think the names are really sweet as well -- almost sounds like the Secret Service are softies when it comes to cute little girls.

If you look here...

You can see past codenames for First Families.  They are usually pretty complimentary to the kids.
