Babble Talk: The Wisdom of No Consequences

In honor of New Year’s Eve, I’d like to give a brief shout-out to two-year-old Jonathan. His quote on today’s Kids Say The Cutest Things perfectly captures the rules I think we’d all like to govern our New Year’s Eve celebrations.

When his mother told him, “If you do not listen to Mommy, there will be consequences,” Jonathan shouted, “NO CONSEQUENCES!” Man, I know how he feels. Consequences are such a drag.

Here’s to heeding Jonathan’s advice, just for tonight….
