I may not throw out any of my kids' books, but that doesn't
mean I don't find many of them incredibly annoying. My 
husband and I try not to
make any snarky comments about the books in front of our kids, but sometimes we
can't help ourselves. (Like in the Apple Tree Farm series of books by Usborne
Books, in which Mrs. Boot is the farmer (no mention of Mr. Boot) and Ted
"works on the farm." Um, yeah, we all know where Ted's doing most of
his work. Thankfully, my kids don't know what "shtooping" means.)
Perhaps these books would be a little more fun to read...

not ever make it to the bookshelves, but they'll certainly give you a good
