Newborn Baby Pics: Cute Little Aliens

Posted by JeanneSager

I didn't wait long after they'd rolled my newborn daughter off to the nursery to give my husband the "tell me the truth" look.

"Is she really beautiful, or do I just think that because I'm her mother?"

Face it - newborns look like aliens.

Before you get your maternity panties in a bunch, keep reading. No one ever said aliens weren't cute!

Newborns have flaking skin, pruney fingers and surprised looks. Those delivered vaginally often have coneheads from all the pushing and stretching.

Proving my point quite nicely, Just Cute Pics put up a collection of newborn baby pictures that will force you to put on that high pitched "aww, wook at the wickle widdle nooooose" voice. From the tongue stuck out to the pursed lips, they're the ultimate in ugly cute (and I mean that with pure love - my kid was ugly cute too).

A few of my favorites:

Want more? Check out Just Cute Pics, and just try to tell me you didn't get a little "wooga, wooga" in your voice.
