Baby-Faced Boy Becomes a Father

Posted by Madeline Holler

Alfie Patten looks like he's eight years old. He's actually 13 (just barely). He's also a father. Four days ago, his girlfriend gave birth.

The boy-faced dad -- he's four-feet tall -- says he's happy to be a father and committed to raising his daughter. Also, he's not really sure how much diapers cost.

Little Alfie said this when asked about people's reaction to his 15-year-old girlfriend Chantelle Steadman's pregancy (from The Sun):

“I didn’t know what it would be like to be a dad. I will be good, though, and care for it.”

By "it," Alfie means his daughter Maisie Roxanne.

The boy's father says he's been to the hospital everyday since Maisie's birth and that he seems desperate to be a good father. But that he also doesn't have a clue what that entails. Alfie also has no income, not even an allowance!

The couple only had sex once. And writers for the Sun say this is hardly testimony for Great Britain's super expensive sex education program

That "father" looks all of 8 years old. I really hope this story turns out to be a fake! For everyones sake. Can you imagine when hes 23 his daughter could make him a grandfather!

ugh, go read the article from the sun... he looks eight, but his girlfriend does not. she looks at least 16, it makes me sick to think that a 15 year old girl would sleep with a 13 year old boy, especially one who looks 8!

"I will be good, though, and care for it." Care for IT?? Well, he's not off to a great start, is he? In my experience, loving parents don't refer to their baby daughter (if it's really his, which I doubt) as "it." This baby is as doomed as its parents are; everyone involved in this sorry spectacle are scum.

grosssssss

why didnt they put the baby up for adoption they can't care for it anyway, and their probably going to split up soon anyway.

if the father doesnt know what financially means, he probably wont know what education means either. which is something they should have had before they decided to have sex. The mother looks like shes 20 too.
