OctoMom Rejects Angels In Waiting Offer

Posted by Brett Singer

Nadya Suleman in...The Neverending StoryAccording to RadarOnline, Nadya OctoMom Suleman has rejected an offer from the group Angels In Waiting to "provide her with a temporary new home for six months."

Angels offer was pretty sweet. According to Radar: "around the clock individualized care by pediatric nurses and other early intervention professionals for her octuplets and their six other siblings." This is in addition to giving them A PLACE TO LIVE. Remember that the house she currently lives in -- her parents' -- is facing foreclosure.

Gloria Allred is all red with frustration -- actually, I don't know if that's true but I wanted to write that. Sorry. We'll learn how she feels later today when the attorney to the weird gives a press conference.

I can understand not accepting help from people for various reasons. In this case, I think Suleman should take what she can get, especially since she's already asking for help from anyone who is willing. So why turn this one down? Is it that she doesn't like Allred? She also seems to be rejecting offers of help from Denis Beaudoin, who said he'd give Nadya some money even if he wasn't the father. Can she really afford to be so, you know, choosy?

Commenter FoxyMoxie (thanks for the tip!) says that Allred will discuss the "'disturbing' phone conversations" she has had with the OctoMom. I mean, will this thing ever end?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't this same site a few days ago post a blog about how sketchy Angels in Waiting seemed? Isn't their mission in the end to take the babies and put them in other homes? Now, I'm not saying one way or another whether I think Ms. Suleman is necessarily all there, but can you really fault her for denying help with such pricey strings attached?

I think their mission is to help babies that have no homes and help them get adopted.  BUT in this case they were going outside of their mission to help her family.  I do not see them as having ulterior motive to try to steal her children away.  That would be silly.  She has to sign lots of documents for each child to let them be adopted.  No worries though.  Any sane person would jump at this offer to be able to keep their children but OctoDumb did not. She wants money and attention, not those children.  CPS will place them in foster homes soon and that will be a wonderful day.

Lex, you are absolutely right. Angels in Waiting, just want the money. That is why Allred filed the complaint first and then the next day Angels in Waiting announced that they wanted to "help". This was to "force" Nadya to go to them...I'm pretty sure they are the ones who called Kaiser...

As for Angels in Waiting, we've investigated them, it would cost tax payers MORE if the children went there. Their organization is hurting and they meed a new building, they get paid through Medical payments. The babies would HAVE to be on Medical in order to be there and they would be a ward of the court because Angels in Waiting wanted Nadya to sign guardianship over to them...so how is this "saving" the tax payers?  It's not, people think that Nadya Suleman is crooked, please, it's the people who exploit her and this very "different situation". People you know how "our" media gets when something out of the norm is going on. America is fascinated with anything that distracts from "real" news. There is no much going on, the economy, missing children, battered women, sexual abuse, and yet we want to focus on someone who is not a criminal and has done nothing illegal all because we don't agree with their decisions.

And to Ali, you are totally out of touch with reality by making the comment CPS will place them in foster homes soon and that will be a wonderful day...I have worked for State and County social services, and it is NEVER a wonderful day when a child is place with CPS or Foster Care...it takes a rally heartless person to make those type of comments. I hope that if you have children, that nothing happens that would put them in that situation.

Americans need to be careful about the negativity, it brings bad karma.

as dr,phil said on larry king live this is an offer Nadya should think about.  He said she still keeps all her kids.  Wonder why she wouldn't jump at the offer.

I think it is selfish of her to deny healthcare to her children. they are offering free 24/7 healthcare that she otherwise is going to struggle providing for 14 children, especially the 8 newborns. There was a statement made that said Nadya only denied the healthcare due to the fact that it would put her at risk for not being able to get a reality show?!?! seriously, how much more selfish could one person be? she should be thinking about her children as opposed to having her 1 minutes of fame.
