Tats for Tots

Posted by Madeline Holler

Is this a sign that tattoos are way mainstream or that kids clothing has no boundaries? Or both?

A tattoo shop made semi-famous on the TLC TV show "Miami Ink" has launched a baby apparel line featuring "baby-ish" versions of body ink standards: aggressive dragons and tigers and cartoon characters.

A Ruthless & Toothless onesie goes for $26 and a hoodie for $41, kind of steep in these frugal times. But maybe after a late night of nursing, you can dare your little badass to go online and get a inked up onsie ... just something small ... you know, right here.

The line features work from artists Chris Garver, Darren Brass, Yoji Harada and James Hamilton.

We bought Ed Hardy temporary tats for our 3 and 4 year old boys. They loooove them and go around showing them off, telling folks they're pirates or "Just like Mommy" (I have several real ones).
