The event/stunt/proof of the coming apocalypse was set up by a DJ on radio station Y100 in Miami.
The scarier thing is that
this isn't the first time parents have done stupid stuff to get Jonas Brothers tickets for their kids. I guess the shows sell out so getting in requires extraordinary measures.
To all parents who are considering doing something extreme because your kids really really really want to see the Jonas Brothers (or any other concert for that matter) I have a suggestion. Tell them no.
