What Are Your Family’s Favorite Foods?
Today’s Daily Babble email newsletter (which you can sign up for on our homepage, if you don’t already get it) mentioned one of the users in the Babble Playground. One of the questions in her profile is “What are your family’s favorite foods?” The answer?
The three P’s…PBJ, Pizza and Pasta!
So I was wondering what you and yours are eating over at your house. And can I come over for dinner? (Just kidding. Although if you’ve got any leftovers…)
At my house, the three P’s are definitely popular. Thing 1 also likes pastrami, but not on a sandwich. It’s like a kiddie Atkins thing. Thing 2 lives on apple sauce, yogurt, and string cheese, preferably the “double” kind (Polly-O Twists). Both kids like apples, but only Thing 1 eats bananas. Cookies are popular, but that doesn’t count.
But enough about me! How about you? What’s popular over at your place?

my daughter is 18 months and she used to be into everything, but she slowly started cutting things out. one day there was nothing she wouldn’t eat, the next she would eat nothing. And I swear to you, it started with mashed potatoes. I thought it would be a good idea for her to try some (this was when she was around a year) and it all went downhill from there.
But her favorites are fruits, apples, bananas, oranges and grapes mostly. She will not eat melon though. And the only veggies she will eat are corn and canned asparagus.
But he favorite foods are baked beans, hot dogs, french fries, pizza and McDonalds chicken nuggets.
though the other day i got her to eat tuna fish, and cottage cheese, she wasnt into it at first. But she tried it and ended up cleaning her plate.
We eat both Porkchops, rice and beans (Puerto Rican style)and tacos at least once a week. My husband grew up eating Puerto Rican food and loves the Pork. I grew up eating Taco Bell, and quickly realized that I can’t introduce my own child to that habit, so we have taco night once a week instead(usually turkey, but sometimes chicken, fish, or shrimp). Our daughter loves all of it! She’s an allergy-kid (dairy, eggs, soy, and peanut) so everything we make is Beans-friendly.
