Travel: The Ultimate Experience for LEGO Fans

Posted by SunnyChanel

Not unlike a plastic injected sequel to Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, you and your family can get an exclusive insider tour of a legendary headquarters. For a very limited time you can enter the hallowed halls of the Lego Factory in Denmark. And no, you won’t have to search out some elusive golden ticket, you’ll just need some good hard cash.

Throughout the month of June, the people of Lego will be giving an exclusive 2½ day behind the scenes tour of their headquarters in Billund, Denmark. On the junket you can meet, hang out with and dine with the designers of the LEGO Group. On the tours you’ll get to explore the factory, visit the archive that dates back to 1932, go on a VIP behind the scenes tour of LEGOLAND, and at the end of it all, you’ll receive a unique LEGO gift.

So by now you’re probably wondering how much such a Lego adventure will set you back? The LEGO Insider Tour Package is about $1700 (does not include airfare). For more information check out the ‘Ultimate Experience for LEGO Fans' page here.

That is crazy..$1700?  How is anyone in this economy supposed to afford that and then tell their child they cannot go because dad cant fork over $1700.  Sad.. should be like $20.

$1700 sounds like a pretty good deal to me, what with all you get from the package. No doubt their spaces will fill, unless of course swine flu gets there first :{
