Sure, I follow celebrity pregnancies as much as the next
semi-conscious parent blogger. But truthfully, I'm way more obsessed
with pregnant women and mothers in powerful jobs. I think that in the
same way startlets stepping forward with their baby bumps has made
pregnancy not just tolerable but fashionable, powerful women with buns
in the oven will make pregnancy and motherhood in serious, powerful,
wheeling-and-dealing type jobs as normal as open-ended expense
accounts, billable hours and approval ratings.
