When I read Alison Lowenstein's Bad Parent offering here at Babble, His and Hers,
I was a little surprised. Her kids are 4 years old and 18 months. They
share a room. So what if they're of the opposite sex? Is this an issue,
really?
See, from my point of view, it's not. Two of my kids
shared a room for two years beginning when they were 3 1/2 (girl) and 7
1/2 (boy). It was no big deal. They played together, sang songs
together. In the morning I could hear them chatting as they awoke. Is
this really an issue?
