The other day I posted about Carole Horlock, the English woman who's about to set a record having the greatest number of babies via surrogacy.
I should have known there was a darker side to the story.
Apparently
Carole likes being pregnant. We knew that, and many of you commented
that you'd gladly lend your own uterus to a sister but would have a
hard time letting a baby you carried go to a stranger. I can relate to
that, which (aside from having a perfectly horrid time during
pregnancy) is a reason I don't think I could ever have considered
pregnancy as a surrogate.
