  • Scientology Parenting: Are Tom and Katie Feeding Suri Poison?

    suri-cruise-bottle-b.jpg

The good folks at Defamer have paid much attention to how many bottles famous Scientology mothers are giving their kids. Leah Remini has confessed to still bottle feeding her three-year-old and Suri here looks like she has no intention of stopping the “ba-ba.” Critics have called a lot of supposedly regular parenting practices of Scientology into question (“silent birth” anyone?). • Leah Remini to Star in Web TV Show: "In the Motherhood"

Leah Remini,  King of Queens star and mother of two is set to star in a new web TV Show and multi-media venture: In The Motherhood, which includes a website and community for moms (doesn't everything have a community for moms now?).  The five-episode web television show will appear in small segments during the Ellen Degeneres Show and will be based on the stories submitted by viewers/In the Motherhood blog participants.

Within 30 seconds of beginning the sign-up process I was asked for my name, birthdate, and cellular carrier, a rather unsisterhoodlike sensation.  The motherhood brotherhood, more like.  My gut reaction was "Is everything for sale?" Kind of ironic given that's the exact rebuke aimed at hipster parents and the like.

Hollywood screenwriters will develop the characters and story lines for each episode of "Motherhood," based on the stories voted the best entries at the site. Online visitors will be asked to submit their experiences on such topics as "your child's worst public meltdown, your child's funniest potty training story and your funniest mother-in-law child-rearing advice."

Hmmm. I wonder if any of these folks could come to my house and turn last week's stomach flu into a sight gag and some cackles.
