a mailing from Senator Elizabeth Dole's North Carolina campaign,
claiming that challenger, Kay Hagan's, opposition to banning gay
marriage will usher in a bold new age of radical homosexual rule in
North Carolina. I personally know some queers who fled suburban North
Carolina just two years ago due in part to homophobic neighbors,
coworkers, shopkeepers, gas station attendants, doctors...you get the
idea. I guess they should have stuck around a couple of years for Kay
Hagan's debut!
