The
London Underground has banned a new ad campaign by bookie Paddy Power
promoting its new online bingo business, because of the "potential to
offend public decency". Advertiser Paddy Power has been in trouble with
the Advertising Standards Authority before with two previous campaigns
judged having a "potential to cause widespread offence". One campaign
featured DaVinci's "Last Supper" on a casino table, and the other
portrayed two grandmotherly types crossing a busy street with odds
posted over their heads.
