Next week is National TV-Turnoff Week. You're joking right? It's the NBA playoffs, the NHL playoffs, plus there is a new episode of Shear Genius on.
Ahem.
I guess the point is for parents to turn off the tv. Pffffft. My power was out for 26 hours last week and it was hell. Without that TiVoed hour that is Sesame Street I could never cook dinner. What, you think my kids are asleep while I am typing this? Ha!

Hide the remote? Are you high? I can't find my remote right now. And that, my friends, is why we are watching some Animaniacs Christmas special that came on HBO Family. You guys feel free to turn off your televisions and improve the health of your children next week. I'll be watching 8000 episodes of Dora the Explorer and reruns of Top Chef.
