With Elisabeth Shue set to play -- acting stretch! -- Elisabeth Shue in "Hamlet 2," which comes out Friday, I recently got to thinking about "Adventures in Babysitting."
(And by "got to thinking" I mean, you know, I thought more about
"Adventures in Babysitting" than usual.) The entertaining, often
overlooked '80s teen comedy starred Shue as a babysitter who takes her
three charges on a series of wacky adventures in Chicago. Of the three
young'uns Shue watched, one of them remains well-known: Anthony Rapp starred in Broadway's "Rent" and "Dazed and Confused."
